Initial Consultation
The first step in creating the perfect garment is to understand your needs and preferences fully.
In our initial consultation, we will discuss everything from the cloth and lining to the tiny minutia of stitching and detail that make the difference between good and outstanding. We always recommend British cloth for its look, quality, heritage and longevity, and with strong relationships with the country’s finest mills. We are certain to have the ideal fabric for your perfect suit or jacket. Bespoke to your needs and made from the best materials, a Tom Fox suit will serve you well for many years to come.
Measuring Up
Once you have selected the cloth, style and detail, the next step is the all-important first measuring.
It is undeniable that thorough and expert measurement makes the difference between being well dressed and falling short. At Tom Fox, we take approximately 30 separate measurements during our initial measuring up. Ensuring that we can build a true picture of your body profile and cut your suit to accentuate, flatter and fit perfectly. Once you’ve seen the difference that professional measuring offers, you’ll never go back to off the rack.
First Fitting
Once we have your measurements and selected cloth, style and detail, we are ready to start creating your one-of-a-kind Tom Fox suit.
Approximately five to six weeks from measuring up, we will arrange for you to come in for your first fitting. At this point, we will make recommendations and discuss with you any minor alterations that may be required for the perfect fit. We pride ourselves with careful measuring and consultation, therefore often no additional adjustments are necessary. This mean, you can start turning heads in your new suit that same day. In the unlikeliness of any required changes to your suit, final alterations will take approximately one week to complete.
